It is suitable for both the maintained and independent sector and will cover:
- Leadership and management of safeguarding
- Statutory responsibilities
- Safeguarding Learners (children and adults)
- Types of Abuse and Risks Outside the Home
- The Prevent Duty
- Safe Recruitment and the Single Central Register
- How to provide both support and challenge
- Reporting to the board
Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will receive accreditation from the Open College Network (OCN Credit4Learning)
